Jessica and Taylor’s wedding day was a dream. They had a “mason jar blue” color scheme with lots of white and wood touches. Rustic weddings are done a lot in Oklahoma, and this is about the best I’ve seen it. Classy. Elegant. Simplistic. Good job, Jessica! The venue, Bridle Creek, near Tulsa is absolutely stunning. Lots of open spaces, green grass, some wildflowers, little architectural details, A-frame cabins, and natural light. Right up my alley. The small details of the day were my favorite. The pearls Jessica wore are passed down through many generations. The small arrow details added a bit of whimsy. Jessica’s PERFECT shoes by Seychelles (if you want vintage inspired footwear, check them out). They had dinner in true Oklahoma fashion-BBQ (that was really, really good-I was too busy stuffing my face to take any photos of it). Everyone, from the parents of the couple to the DJ was incredibly kind, authentic, and sweet. The love these two share is 100% genuine. No hesitation between kisses and hugs. No pausing between sly words and laughter. Taylor may or may have not teared up during the first look. I may or may not have teared up during the first look. The wedding party had me cracking up-almost to the point of losing my breath. Jessica had the perfect timeline for the day-we had an abundance of time to take photos and were still able to relax before the ceremony began. My kind of timeline. From the relaxing day to the party near the end, this wedding was unforgettable. It was a laid back, elegant, and fun day and I am so thankful I got to be a part of it!
